VISTA ADVISERS
BRAND IDENTITY + WEBSITE
Vista Advisers is an independent, fee-only financial advisory practice, built on the idea that an adviser should sit fully on the client's side of the table, free of commissions or product bias.
The brand had to speak the same language as its audience. High-net-worth clients need to recognise something familiar: a quiet confidence that doesn't announce itself. Nothing about the identity shouts, and that's on purpose. A deep navy carries stability and trust without the coldness of pure black. A muted gold, used sparingly, signals value without ever feeling decorative. A classic serif font for headings gives a sense of history, set against a clean, highly legible sans-serif that keeps things feeling current and sharp. Straight, unrounded corners run through the whole system, giving the brand an edge and a sense of precision rather than softness. The photography direction stayed understated and real, reflecting the world this audience already lives in, rather than stock imagery of handshakes and smiling advisers. Together, these choices help the brand find the right people: the right client feels instantly at home, and anyone outside that world senses, just as quickly, that this isn't built for them.
The site itself needed to do one thing well: give someone who's already been referred the confidence to take the next step. So it stays small on purpose, four pages, no blog, nothing to browse. The copy carries the same weight as the brand, turning "fee-only" and "independent" from jargon into something a reader understands immediately as a benefit, without ever slipping into the usual finance-speak.
The result is a site that does its job in seconds. Someone arrives already primed to trust the person behind it, and the site simply confirms they were right to.
